Steve and Alison Payne
Steve and Alison are a husband and wife team and together they are one half of the partnership that makes up this family business and they bring over 45 years of combined invaluable business experience to Koru Cabins.
With a well-rounded background as a farmer, diesel mechanic and furniture maker among other things, Steve is a skilled tradesman and is one of our builders who works hard in the background to get our cabins built and sent out for our customers to enjoy.
Alison is our “ideas lady” and many of her great ideas are incorporated into our cabins design. She is passionate about our cabins not only looking good and being well built but also coming up with ways to make sure that our cabins are practical and an easy and comfortable space to live in. Alison is also our customer service wonder woman and it is her voice that you will hear answering your calls and replying to your emails, ready to answer any questions that you may have and helping you through every step on your way to becoming the proud owner of your very own Koru cabin.
Kaleb and Serena Kelly
Kaleb and Serena are the husband and wife team that make up the second half of the family business. Serena is the daughter of Steve and Alison and when the opportunity came up for Kaleb and Serena to go into business with them they jumped at the chance.
Kaleb has a background in both building and management and is an invaluable part of this business. He not only designs our products but he is also involved in bringing those designs to life and you will often find him with his tool belt on and out working hard with the guys.
Kaleb and Serena have 4 young boys and Serena is kept very busy running around after them as a stay-at-home mum. When she has a spare moment she tries to keep up with running the Koru Cabins Facebook page which gives people a look at what goes on behind the scenes here at Koru Cabins.
